WIND ROSE CALCULATION
The wind rose is the distribution of wind speed and incoming wind direction for a particular location.
The calculation in this site uses the Meteorological formulation generally used:
- 16 incoming wind direction sectors each one 22,5° wide
- 6 wind speed classes in m/s or km/h depending on the station configuration
It's important to note that the calculation represents the INCOMING DIRECTION of the wind .
